Information on Delivery Time

The delivery time of 1-2 days is our expected delivery time.

This applies to parts that we do not have in stock but expect to have from day to day.

There are several factors involved, which we will explain here.

Time of Order

If you place an order late in the day (after 14:00-16:00), it is not certain that our supplier can ship the part to us the same day.

Examples:

  • Order on Monday at 11:00 → Koed orders the same day → Receives the part on Tuesday → Ships it on Tuesday → Customer receives it on Wednesday.
  • Order on Monday at 16:30 → Koed orders on Tuesday → Receives the part on Wednesday → Ships it on Wednesday → Customer receives it on Thursday.

The 90/10% Rule

90% of the parts we do not have in stock typically arrive from day to day.

The remaining 10% are parts that need to be sourced from farther away, e.g., from the BMW factory in Munich. Even if we order these parts express, it usually takes 3-5 days to receive them.

Which Parts Fall Under the 10% Category?

  • Parts for BMW Classic models.
  • Parts for special models.
  • Parts that are rarely sold.
  • Parts for models that are not commonly seen on the road.

If it is crucial to know whether a part falls under the 1-2 days rule (90%) or requires more time (10%), we recommend contacting us to get the exact delivery time.

Backordered or Discontinued Parts

In rare cases, a part may appear available for purchase even though it is actually discontinued or on backorder, which we sincerely regret.

In these cases, you as a customer will be contacted and informed about the situation.

If you already know that a specific part is on backorder/discontinued, but it still shows a 1-2 day delivery time on our website, we recommend contacting us regarding availability before placing the order.
